I founded BEST Physical Therapy 28 years ago to provide quality physical therapy and education. Over the past two decades, BEST PT has grown and continues to provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based rehabilitation and education to help people overcome and manage injuries, and to keep people healthy and active. It’s our mission and privilege at BEST PT to evaluate and teach all areas of dysfunction to provide clients with a comprehensive lifelong exercise program. The internet is full of information about the human body, exercise, injury prevention, treatment and performance enhancement. Physical Therapists are experts on proper exercise, strengthening and movement. At BEST PT we focus on education and the importance of exercising and moving correctly. Regularly, clients say, “you guys have the best tips!” This blog was created to offer BEST PT‘s expertise to help people who are recovering from injury or who want enhanced sports performance understand the importance of proper movement and strength to optimize results. Our physical therapists will post quarterly topics on everything from the best exercises for runner’s knee to doing chores without putting yourself at risk to the science behind our methods in the clinic. The human body is intricate and amazing. We want to provide a solid resource for any questions you might have, dispel myths, and provide the best ways to keep yourself pain-free and in motion. Check for new posts to become more aware, active, and educated – it’s what we’re all about at BEST PT. If there are topics you’d like to see covered, let us know. We hope the articles are beneficial. Thanks, Kathy |
